Questions And Answers

We Are A Quiet Site From 12am, In Consideration Of Other Guests.

YES! Oak Lodge And Acorn Lodge Have Private Hot Tubs For Exclusive, Unlimited Use. Oak Leaf Lodge Does Not Have A Hot Tub.

Do I need to bring my own bedding and towels?

NO! All Bedding, Towels & Fluffy Robes are provided, as well as Shampoo And Showergel.

Can I bring my dog?

Dog Are Welcome, There Are Some Conditions:
• Friendly dogs only, our own dogs live on the property and their safety is of utmost importance.
• Doggy guests are priced at £20 per stay per dog.
• Must be kept on a leash at all times whilst outside the cabins
• Must be under control at all times, this includes nuisance barking.
• Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs
• You will need to bring throws to protect our furniture
• Dogs should not be left unattended in the cabin
• Any and all damage to the property caused by a dog must be paid for accordingly.

What time is Check In/Out?

Checkin in from 3pm, we will meet you at the lodge. Checkout is 11am, late checkout is available for a fee.

Where are you located?

We are located just 6 miles outside of Derry/Londonderry, just off the A6. Taxis are available to and from the city. The city has a fantastic offering for restaurants and bars, we are happy to advise if you would like. There are lots of food delivery options to the site, Chinese, Indian, kebabs and pizzas. We provide menus and advice for local places. There is a gas bbq provided for your use, if you wish to cook for yourself, we provide utensils and everything that you could require for cooking. Each cabin has a private terrace and picnic bench for dining al fresco

What are the sleeping arrangements in the cabins?

Sleeping arrangements: Oak Leaf and Acorn Lodge are double cabins and can sleep up to 4 adults and 1 child. There is a king size bed in the main cabin and a king size sofa bed in the living room cabin. We have camp beds for kids that can go into either cabin. The living room cabin provides a private space for guest to enjoy the immersive forest experience, taking in the breath-taking views of The Oaks ancient woodland.

Just back from a night away at the Oaks Luxury Lodges and it was amazing! Would definitely recommend!! Albert the owner couldn’t do enough for us. We will definitely be back, our stay was first class from the cabin to the hot tub, it has everything you need for the perfect weekend!!

Wow! This place exceeded all my expectations. The owners were so kind and helpful with anything I needed and the space is so beautiful. The accommodations were clean and included everything I needed, and more! Comfortable bed, spacious living environment, and a very relaxing hot tub on the property 🙂 would definitely return!

Fab location, accommodation and very friendly and helpful owners! Absolutely loved our stay there and will definitely be back! Thank you! We even did the ziplining next door which was also great fun!
